Second Cowbell Sprint Series set for Nov 17

The Ghana Triathlon Federation is set to stage the second edition of the Cowbell Sprint Series at the Legon swimming pool on the November 17, 2019. The Sprint Series is the flagship competition put together to provide a platform for competitors of all ages and  from across the country to compete for honours. The event will bring together triathletes from all over the world to compete in a 600-meter swimming, 20km biking and a 5km-running, both single and team relay. Registration for the competition is ongoing on the Facebook page of the Federation and is set to be closed by November 15. The event is supported by Cowbell, Accra Metropolitan Assembly (AMA), The Ghana Police Service and the National Sports Authority. Early this year, Ebenezer Osabutey and Marshall Brobbey emerged the big winners at the end of an exciting day of competition at the Cowbell Triathlon Legon Sprint Series at the University of Ghana campus. The race is one of several the Ghana Triathlon Federation is organizing to create and develop a generational pipeline of triathletes and to also unearth and polish the emerging young talents for the future of Ghana triathlon.
