Accra Hearts of Oak have appointed Samuel Boadu as their new head coach on a three and half year deal.

The former Medeama Sporting Club’s head coach joins the Phobians to replace Samuel Nii Noi who was named interim head coach after Kosta Papic resigned.

Since Nii Noi stepped into the position as the interim head coach, he played three games, won two, drew one – including an all important fixture against their bitterest rivals Kumasi Asante Kotoko.

Samuel Boadu is expected to continue with the team’s great form and keep their hopes of ending their long league trophy drought this season.

Boadu came close to winning the league tittle with Medeama Sporting Club on two occasions but all was declared null and void due to the outbreak of Covid-19 and the Number 12 expose.

Former Aduana Stars head coach W.O Tandoh will assist Samuel Boadu as they continue to rebuild their technical team.
