Brazilian duo, Fabio Gama and Michael Vinícius Silva de Morais were both on target as the Porcupine Warriors scored four against Bechem United at home.

Asante Kotoko head coach Mariano Barreto was given the green light to sit on the bench after missing out in the first game against Eleven Wonders.

The Porcupine Warriors who were unstoppable at the Len Clay Sports Stadium in Obuasi went ahead as early as the 12th minute when Abdul Ganiyu scored from a Fabio Gama assist.

Gama after setting up the first goal scored the second. He connected well to a pass from Francis Andy Kumi in the Bechem United 18-yard box to score.

Asante Kotoko who led 2-0 at halftime continued with their dominant performance in the second half.

Former Unistar Academy forward, Francis Andy Kumi scored his debut to make it 3-0 for the Porcupine Warriors. Imoro Ibrahim sent a cross which was headed home by Kumi.

Michael Vinícius came on for Francis Kumi to make his debut.

It took him only two minute to score his first Kotoko league goal after tapping into the back of the net to complete the mauling for Mariano Barreto’s men.

Kotoko are now third with 31 points – only two points separate them and leaders Accra Great Olympics.
