Accra Hearts of Oak ran riot on a hot Sunday afternoon at the Accra Sports Stadium by hammering league leaders Bechem United 6-1.   The hunters were unbeaten before going into this game and they held on tight to the belief it will remain like that. Unfortunately, it didn’t. The first half of the game ended goalless and Hearts fans were fuming because the team had wasted a lot of chances. Daniel Afriyie was the main target of the backlash after he missed a glorious opportunity to score. The Hunters seemed to be holding up well until Asante was shown the red card in the 45th minute. Kosta Papic’s men capitalized on this in the second half of the game and scored series of goals in quick fashion. First on the score sheet was Manaf Umaru who put the ball at the back of the net seven minutes into the second half. Victor Aidoo followed suit with a fantastic dummy. He was not done yet and scored the third goal of the game. At this point, the Bechem United players were apprehensive and were error prone. Unfortunately for them, they gave away a penalty. Ansah Botchway stepped up and converted it. The League leaders found themselves wanting and Prince Adu Kwabena pulled one back for them. Nigerian midfielder, Mamane Lawali could not end the day without getting his name on the score sheet and so the sixth goal came from him. Super Sub Benjamin Afutu delivered the final blow and scored in the 90th minute. The results see Hearts of Oak climb to the second position on the GPL table. Head coach, Kosta Papic also becomes the first manger to win against Bechem United. By Sakyibea Ofori|3news.com|Ghana]]>
