Black Stars coach Milovan Rajevac took charge of his first training session following his reappointment last month.

The Serbian tactician, who replaced Charles Akonnor, is preparing his players for the task ahead – a double-header against Zimbabwe.

Rajevac and his two assistants, Otto Addo and Maxwell Konadu led an exciting session at the Cape Coast stadium Tuesday.

Twenty-five (25) players are currently in camp preparing for the match.

Columbus Crew captain Jonathan Mensah will join the team on Wednesday while the GFA continues to assess Andrew Yiadom’s situation at Reading FC.

The right-back picked up a knock on Saturday when Reading beat Cardiff in the English Championship and could miss the qualifiers.

Black Stars face Zimbabwe twice in the space of four days. The first match will be played this Saturday in Cape Coast with the return leg in Harare on Tuesday.

Ghana are second in Group G with three points beating Ethiopia 1-0 and losing to South Africa by the same scoreline in their first two matches.
