On Saturday, August 11, 2018, Ghana’s Patrick Allotey will come face-to-face with Uganda’s Badru Lusambya in a boxing bout at the Bukom Boxing Arena, Accra. Patrick Allottey holds the WBO African Super Welterweight title and he will defend it against the Ugandan in what many says is an extravagant battle. In an interview with the Ghanaian boxer on an Accra-based radio station concerning his preparation towards the battle, Patrick Allotey said: “If a boxer is strong we have strategies we use. If you look at me you see that I’m very strong.” He added that despite the strength of his opponent, he is not scared. “It’s not because I’m afraid of him but I also have plans I’ll use to face him and I’m happy that I’ve gotten such an opponent. “People will know the level of Patrick Allotey come August.” He asked Ghanaians to come in their numbers and support him as his fight is for Ghana. On the night, two other title fights against Kenya and Nigeria as well as three other undercard fights will be staged at the venue. By Lily Kakra Owusu|3news.com|Ghana ]]>
