New Arsenal boy Thomas Partey has joined up with his Ghana teammates in Turkey for two friendly games against Qatar and Mali.

The 27-year old became the most expensive Ghanaian player after completing a 45million pound move to the North London side to widespread acclaim but must now focus on his international career beginning with a meeting against Mali on Friday.

He is one of 19 players available to Ghana boss C.K Akonnor who would be taking charge of his first game since being elevated to the role after the 2019 Africa Cup of Nations.

Partey has 10 goals in 27 caps and has developed into the team’s key cog in the last few years and the transfer to Arsenal is only likely to heighten the focus and attention on him.

The full list of players available to Akonnor are: Lawrence Ati-Zigi, Razak Abalora, Benson Annag, Kamaldeen Suleyman, Captain Andre Ayew, Jordan Ayew, Nicholas Opoku, Emmanuel Lomotey, Eugene Ansah, Baba Iddrisu, Gideon Mensah, Thomas Teye- Partey, Samuel Owusu, Yakubu Mohammed, Bernard Mensah, Kassim Nuhu, Tarique Fosu, Alexander Djiku and Joseph Aidoo.
