AC Milan have completed the signing of midfielder Ruben Loftus-Cheek from Chelsea on a four-year contract.
The transfer fee has not been officially disclosed, but reports suggest that Milan will pay £15 million, plus additional add-ons.
The former England international, who had been with Chelsea since his youth days, joins AC Milan at the age of 27.
During his time at Stamford Bridge, he made 155 club appearances and scored seven goals. He was part of Chelsea’s successful campaigns, winning two Premier League titles, the Europa League, and the UEFA Super Cup.

This transfer is part of Chelsea’s efforts to balance their financial situation after a significant expenditure in the previous season. The club spent £600 million during that period and are now focused on offloading several first-team players to alleviate concerns regarding Financial Fair Play regulations.
In addition to Loftus-Cheek, Chelsea have seen a number of players leave the club this summer with Kai Havertz sold to Arsenal, Mateo Kovacic joining Manchester City, and a deal has been agreed with Manchester United for the transfer of Mason Mount.
Furthermore, Edouard Mendy and Kalidou Koulibaly have moved to Saudi Arabia to join Al-Ahli, while N’Golo Kante has agreed to terms with Al-Ittihad, another Saudi Pro League club.
