Ghana international Kwadwo Asamoah has confirmed parting ways with current club Inter Milan.

The midfielder joined Inter in 2018 after six successful years at Juventus under Antonio Conte and Max Allegri.

Asamoah’s move to Inter was as a result of Conte’s return to the club.

Having already been successful under him, the midfielder felt the same opportunities will be given to him in the Inter side but that did not happen as he saw little amount of game time and was consistently left out of Match Day squads.

He struggled to impress as a result of long spells out due to injuries too.

Last season’s knee injury was a big part of how it went for him.

Asamoah took to his Twitter account on Friday morning to thank all Inter fans and club officials for the support they gave him in these two massive years.

“I want to thank all the staff, the club, my teammates and last but not least all the Nerazzurri fans, you are great! Good luck for everything,” he tweeted.
