Former President of the Republic of Ghana John Agyekum Kufour has asked Chief Executive Officer of Asante Kotoko to make the club economically viable after the latter paid him a visit.

In making the 23-time Ghana Premier League winners commercially viable, the former president, who served as a board chairman at the club in the past, urged the Nana Yaw Amposah-led management to manage the club scientifically to make the Porcupine Warriors financially resourceful.

Nana Yaw Amposah’s visit to the former President at his residence forms part of his engagement tour after his appointment.

He has already met with Hebert Mensah, Bantamahene Baffour Owusu Amankwatia VI, known in private life as Sylvester Asare Owusu, and the Chief Executive Officer of the Ghana National Petroleum Corporation (GNPC), Dr. Kofi Kodua Sarpong.

Nana Yaw Amponsah was unveiled as CEO of Asante Kotoko in August and has been tasked to develop the Porcupine Warriors into a resourceful modern club.
