Asante Kotoko have completed the signing of left-back Nanabayin Amoah from Division One League side Venomous Vipers.

The Porcupines Warriors have remained busy in the transfer market following the establishment of an Interim Management Committee that includes new coach Prosper Narteh Ogum and former Black Stars coach James Kwesi Appiah who currently serves as the technical director.

Nanabayin becomes the team’s second signing in the current transfer window having agreed to a three-year deal with the former Ghana Premier League champions. Yahaha Dawumi was also unveiled a few days ago following his move from Susubiribu SC.

Kotoko are expected to recruit more players as Ogum targets rebuilding as the main agenda in his second stint at the club.

The club have already been linked with a number of highly rated players including West Africa Football Academy defender Michael Dwamena and Berekum Chelsea duo Kalo Ouattara and Henry Ansu.

The team is currently camped in Beposo in the Ashanti Region as they hold their pre-season sessions ahead of the new season.

Kotoko are hoping to better the performance of their previous campaign after finishing third on the league log of the Ghana Premier League and bowing out of both the FA Cup and the CAF Champions League.

The former West Africa Football Academy manager is eager to turn around the club’s fortunes after its poor performance last season.
