Coach Paa Kwesi issuing instructions to his player[/caption] Asante Kotoko’s 2-1 win over champions Aduana Stars on Sunday helped them finish in the Top 4 of the 2017/2018 Zylofon Cash Premier League after the first round. Sogne Yacouba scored both goals for the Porcupine Warriors before Aduana Stars pulled one back through Bright Adjei. It was the last match in the first round for the hosts, who went ahead from a set piece after just seven minutes of play. The second goal came after Yacouba connected to a Prince Acquah pass in the penalty area. But Aduana Stars halved the deficit after a well-orchestrated free kick, resulting in an Adjei header past goalkeeper Felix Annan. Watch highlights below:

The game was the 11th for the Ogya Boys as they have four outstanding games, one to be played on Tuesday – against Ashanti Gold SC. The result of the match at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium sees Asante Kotoko placing fourth on the table after Round 1. They are behind leaders Medeama SC, who have one outstanding game, Karela United, who have completed their Round 1 matches, and Ashanti Gold SC, who also have one outstanding game, in that order.
