Ghanaian striker Jordan Ayew seems to have found his feet in the English Premier League. Over the weekend, the 28-year-old surpassed his brother Andre Dede Ayew to become the second top Ghanaian scorer in the Premier League. It has taken a while for Jordan Ayew to score 22 goals in the English Premier league. His equalizer against Arsenal on Sunday puts him a goal above his brother Andre Dede Ayew, who has 21 goals in 89 games. An interesting factor is how slow Jordan Ayew was in reaching that number of goals. He was introduced to the League in 2015 by Aston Villa, where he scored 9 goals in 51 appearances, a sign that the striker was just not good enough for Aston Villa. He was then sold to Swansea City in 2017 where he struggled to find his feet and scored 8 goals in 50 games. Jordan Ayew was loaned out to Crystal Palace in 2018, and that is where things began to turn around for him. The striker appears to have found his form when he was sold to Crystal Palace in 2019 and right after the Africa Cup of Nations tournament in 2019. Scoring against the likes of Manchester United, Arsenal and Chelsea, the striker definitely turns up in the big games as well. He has scored 6 goals so far this season. The prolific striker has scored a goal in every three games he plays this season. It is on record that he is yet to hit double figures in the English Premier League and with his goal-scoring rate, Jordan Ayew may hit double figures in the 2019/2020 season. He may even beat Tony Yeboah, who sits on top of the highest Ghanaian scorers in the League with two more goals. The legend managed to score a goal in every 2 games. This proves to show how clinical and astounding Tony Yeboah was in the Premier League. He scored 24 goals in 47 games. Andre Dede Ayew has struggled to hit form in the Premier League. The winger joined Swansea City in 2015 and scored 12 goals in 34 games. His performance turned woeful when he joined West Ham United. His form dipped and it was evident when by the end of the 2017/2018 season, he had scored 9 goals in 43 games. Dede Ayew re-joined Swansea City in the Championship. Third on the list is Michael Essien, who scored 17 goals in 168 games and fourth is former Black Stars captain Asamoah Gyan, who has 10 goals in 34 games. By Sakyibea Ofori|3news.com|Ghana]]>
