Jordan Ayew scored the second goal for Swansea City[/caption] Black Stars striker Jordan Ayew was on target yet again for Swansea City on Tuesday, when they came from a goal down to beat Arsenal 3-1. The win lifts the Welsh side out of the relegation zone for the first time in several weeks. Nacho Monreal opened the score for the Gunners – who stay sixth on the log – in the 33rd minute. Within a minute of Monreal’s goal, Sam Clucas equalized for the Swans, sending the spectators at the Liberty Stadium in raptures. A Petr Cech howler at the hour mark gave Ghana’s Jordan Ayew another opportunity to increase his tally this season. Wednesday’s goal becomes his fourth in the 2017/2018 English Premier League. Clucas put the game beyond the Gunners after scoring again with four minutes to end the game, following Ayew’s run into the penalty area. Swansea are now 17th with 23 points. But they will return to the drop zone if Stoke City at least draw in their game against Watford tonight. Source: 3news.com|Ghana ]]>
