Black Stars striker Jordan Ayew has made his move from Swansea City to Crystal Palace permanent. Ayew, 27, penned a three-year contract on Thursday, having spent the 2018/19 season on loan at the south London club. The striker made 20 appearances for the Eagles last season, scoring once in the Premier League. “I am very happy,” the former Aston Villa striker said when he put pen to paper at Selhurst Park. “I really enjoyed myself last season. I enjoyed the stadium, the fans, the boys –they were really good to me – everything here was positive and that’s why I decided to continue with Crystal Palace.” Manager Roy Hodgson expressed delight to have the Ghanaian for the next three seasons, all things being equal. “He has proved himself as a dedicated and hard-working member of the squad, and certainly played his part in the club securing its highest ever Premier League points tally in the last campaign.” Jordan returned to London after a successful campaign with the Black Stars at the 2019 Cup of Nations. He scored two of Ghana’s five goals at the tournament, and converted his penalty in the shoot-out that saw the four-time champions lose to Tunisia in the Round of 16. Source: 3news.com|Ghana]]>
