Former Manchester United star Patrice Evra was greeted warmly when he arrived in Ghana’s capital Accra on Monday night.
The former France captain, who is in Ghana for a four-day visit and will be involved in promotional activities, was overjoyed with the welcome he received at Kotoka International Airport.
Evra said he’s looking forward to trying Ghana Jollof.
“I have already seen everything [in Ghana]. Look at the love. I want to see the people, the Ghanaian people. I will definitely try the Jollof, it’s my first time here in Ghana and I’m already overwhelmed,” Evra said.
“The Jollof! the Jollof I need to try it.”

Evra, who won several trophies, including the Champions League in the 2007/08 season, is expected to leave Ghana on Friday.
