Hearts of Oak failed to bounce back from their defeat to Bofoakwa Tano last week as they played to a frustrating goalless draw against Dreams FC at the Accra Sports Stadium on Sunday.

Dreams FC, riding high on their remarkable journey to the CAF Confederation Cup group stage, exhibited resilience proving to be a challenge for the Ghanaian giants.

Hearts of Oak’s coach, Martin Koopman, implemented several changes to his lineup in a bid to reinvigorate his team’s performance following the disappointing loss to Bofoakwa Tano.

However, they had to settle for a scoreless draw thanks to the defensive brilliance from both sides.

The result means the Phobians have only recorded a single win out of four matches and will seek their next victory in three matches in their upcoming game against Heart of Lions.

Elsewhere, Bibiani Gold Stars served fans with yet another remarkable display as they beat Real Tamale United 3-0 at Duns Park further enhancing their brilliant home record. Roland Frimpong’s brace and McCarthy Appiah’s goal were enough to give the Miners their second win of the season.

Nations FC also held Legon Cities to a 1-1 draw while Nsoatreman secured a slim win over FC Samartex.

Meanwhile just like the Hearts of Oak game against Dreams FC, Heart of Lions drew with Bofoakwa Tano and Great Olympics match against Karela United ended in a stalemate.
