Samuel Boadu has revealed a strong desire to coach Black Stars after guiding Hearts of Oak to win the Ghana Premier League title this season.

Boadu was appointed in the middle of the season when Hearts were struggling and not considered genuine title contenders, but with one match to go, the Phobians are champions.

“It is my ambition as a coach to coach the Black Stars in the future,” Boadu told 3Sports.

“There is no bigger job for me. Unless I say I can’t do it, I will. Mark it somewhere.”

Boadu and his players are expected to receive their winners’ medal on Saturday after their final match of the season against WAFA in Sogakope.

It is Hearts’ first league title in over a decade and the fact that they beat fierce rivals Kotoko makes it more impressive.
