Great Olympics completed their Ghana Premier League double over Hearts of Oak with a resounding 3-0 win on Sunday at the Accra Sports Stadium.

Olympics took the lead through defender Amos Acheapong before forward Yussif Razak scored twice to condemn Hearts to their third straight defeat.

Hearts of Oak have now failed to beat Olympics in the last four league games, with the Phobians’ last victory coming in 2020.

This is Hearts of Oak’s heaviest league defeat of the season.

Elsewhere, RTU beat King Faisal 1-0 to move one step closer to avoiding relegation. Ronald Frimpong scored almost immediately after the halftime break to secure the victory and put RTU in a good position ahead of the season finale.

They have climbed out of the relegation zone, and a victory over Hearts of Oak next week will ensure their place in the top flight next season.

AshantiGold came from behind to defeat Bechem United 2-1, Medeama also produced a comeback win against Accra Lions, Dreams stunned Chelsea 1-0 in Berekum, Legon Cities and Karela United drew goalless, and WAFA defeated Eleven Wonders 1-0 in Sogakope.
