Great Olympics coach Annor Walker says Gladson Awako has confided in him concerning his troubles at Hearts of Oak.

According to him, Awako has stated his desire to quit the Ghanaian champions because he is not happy.

“Awako has informed me he is not happy and does not want to play for Hearts of Oak again so I am doing everything possible to bring him back to Olympics,” he told Omytv.

“He said he is not ready to play for Hearts of Oak again and he wishes he is with me so I am talking to the Olympics management to try and bring him back,“ he added.

Olympics and Hearts reached an agreement for the transfer of Awako in August this year.

He signed a two-year deal after the Phobians agreed to pay a reported 100,000 Ghana cedis transfer fee.

Hearts of Oak registered Awako for the CAF Champions League, but the midfielder hasn’t been involved in any of their two games.

Awako has been holding personal training since early September. Hearts had said the player is experiencing personal difficulties.

Awako scored seven goals and contributed six assists for Great Olympics last season.
