When the Champion of Champions edition of the popular Ghana’s Strongest show commenced early last month, all 10 contestants had the same goal – to win – and they were unsurprisingly super confident.

But after more than seven shows, which saw contestants take on each other in grueling tasks, only four are still in contention for the title.

On Sunday, Amos Ebenezer, also known as Chilling, and Mayweather, real name Mustapha Arhin, joined the evicted list after the semi-finals in Tema.

Chilling, being the youngest at 24, may well be proud of his semi’s berth but it wouldn’t be the case for Mayweather, who has now failed to win in 10 attempts.

The four finalists are Darmian Smith (Shaka Zulu), Prosper Dakora, Bright Appiah (SWAT) and Ahmed Boakye.

Western Region-based police officer Bright Appiah, making his third appearance, worked hard to reach his first final and was very excited when his name was mentioned.

He said: “Honestly, I feel so great because it is something I have worked for and the whole police administration is behind me. They boosted my morale and were all hoping to see me in the final because they know what I am capable of.

“This being my first time, I am so excited and I hope the IGP, my Regional Commander, Station Officer, my colleagues and everybody will be happy for me.”

Ardent followers of the show predict a tight contest, but Shaka Zulu and Ahmed Boakye are the hot favourites.

The pair are the only former winners in the final.

Also, this season, they have challenged each other on several occasions. If Shaka Zulu is not the winner of a particular task, then it is Boakye.

The final show will come off next month.
