Ghanaian goalkeeper Felix Annan has secured a move to English semi-professional side Carlton Town FC as a free agent.

After spending close to a decade with Asante Kotoko, Annan departed the Ghana Premier League club before the start of the 2021/22 season and joined Maryland Bobcats.

The former Black Stars shot-stopper has now found a new footballing opportunity with Carlton Town FC in England. Annan expressed his excitement at completing the move to the English lower-tier side.

Annan’s football journey began at Gomoa Fetteh Feyenoord Academy before he signed for Asante Kotoko. During his time at Kotoko, he gained valuable experience through loan spells with Real Tamale United in 2014 and later with the West African Football Academy in 2015.

On June 9, 2019, Annan made his debut for the Black Stars, in a friendly match against Namibia, which ended in a narrow 1-0 defeat. He was also part of the Black Stars squad that represented Ghana at the 2019 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) held in Egypt.

With his move to Carlton Town FC, Annan looks forward to showcasing his skills and making a positive impact on his new team in the English football scene.
