Medeama SC have confirmed transferring nine of their players to the Maltese Premier League team Sirens FC.

This move signals a major opportunity for the players to start their European careers.

Among the players making the transfer are midfielders Kwasi Donsu and Prosper Owusu Boakye, forwards Charles Agyemang, Frank Boateng, Joshua Agyemang, Bismark Asare, defenders Daniel Opoku and Moro Muktar, and winger Akadom Mohammed Hafiz. They have all signed professional contracts with Sirens FC.

While Kwasi Donsu, Frank Boateng, and Joshua Agyemang have opted for one-year loan deals, the other six players have committed to permanent contracts with Sirens FC.

All formalities have been completed, and the players are set to join their new team this week. Their journey to Malta will mark a significant step forward in their careers and highlight Medeama SC’s growing international presence.

However, Agyemang’s transfer will be slightly delayed, as he’ll stay with Medeama SC for their CAF Champions League match against Remo Stars FC in Nigeria on Sunday, August 27, 2023.

Several of the transferred players played key roles in Medeama’s successful 2022-23 Ghana Premier League season, as the Tarkwa-based club won their first league title.
