Jordan Ayew reached a significant milestone in his career as he scored his 100th career goal in Crystal Palace’s clash against West Ham United last Saturday.
The Eagles secured a thrilling 4-3 win at Selhurst Park on Saturday, with Ayew netting a superb goal to take his tally to 100 goals in over 500 games.
Ayew has scored for six different clubs so far. Between 2009 and 2014, the 31-year-old scored 22 times for Marseille.
The French club then loaned him out to Sochaux where he scored 5 goals. Ayew also had a stint with fellow French club Lorient and scored 13 goals before he departed for England.
In 2015, Ayew signed for Aston Villa, where he scored 10 goals. He later moved to Swansea City, where he netted 12 times during his spell with the club. Since joining Crystal Palace in 2018, Ayew has scored 19 goals.
The 31-year-old has also been a vital player for the Ghana national team, scoring 19 goals since making his debut in 2010.

Ayew’s recent performances have been exceptional, with the striker scoring three goals and providing two assists in his last six games. His recent form coincided with the return of veteran manager Roy Hodgson, who spoke highly of the striker’s development.
Hodgson acknowledged that Ayew has always been strong, a good dribbler and difficult to dispossess, but he has added more to his game. The manager praised Ayew’s improved awareness of his surroundings and decision-making skills.
“He was always strong, he was always good at holding off challenges, he was very difficult to take the ball from and he was a good dribbler.”
“But he’s added to his game. He’s added the awareness of what’s around him and when maybe it’s not the right time to attempt the dribble or the turn and to do something else, which is a great compliment to him. Also, of course, he’s scored some goals.”
