GFA confirms Mali, Equatorial Guinea friendlies

The Ghana Football Association (GFA) has confirmed that the Black Stars will as part of their preparations for the AFCON 2021 qualifiers play two friendly games against Mali and Equatorial Guinea.

The two games will be played at Antalya, Turkey behind closed doors under strict Covid-19 protocols.

Ghana will play Mali on Friday, October 9, 2020 before taking on Equatorial Guinea on Monday, October 12, 2020.

The two games will be the first time  CK Akonnor will be assessing his team ahead of the AFCON qualifier against Sudan, after his appointment as head coach of the Black Stars.

The Black Stars are on top of Group F with 6 points following victories against South Africa and Sao Tome Principal in November 2019.
