The Life Patron and Team owner of Kumasi Asante Kotoko, Otumfuo Osei Tutu II will on Thursday the 18th of April engage the relevant stakeholders of the club.

This will include the playing body, the technical team, the interim management committee of the club and supporters leadership of the club.

The emergency meeting is designed to address the issues militating against the club with its resultant poor run of results in the ongoing Ghana Premier League.

A section of the supporters stormed the club’s Adako Jachie Training grounds on Tuesday, April 16 to stop the club from their usual evening training demanding the resignation of Coach Prosper Ogum and his technical team.

The unfortunate incident resulted in the disruption of training with the Coach and his team unable to hold the session.

With the supporters demanding action from the team owner and Life Patron of the club Otumfuo Over Tutu II, an invitation has been extended to relevant stakeholders of the clubs to deliberate on the situation of the club and the brewing tension as the club seeks to forge United front to turn around the run of poor results.

Kotoko has won only one of their last 10 games, drawing one and losing eight. This being one of the poorest run of results for the Porcupine Warriors, the Life Patron is determined to turn things around. Kotoko has won the domestic league 24 times in the club’s history.
