Black Stars winger Osman Bukari showcased his goalscoring skills to propel Red Star Belgrade to a 3-1 victory over TSC in the Serbian top flight on Saturday.

The 25-year-old showcased his goal-scoring prowess, netting a crucial goal in the 63rd minute that contributed to Red Star maintaining their position just one point behind league leaders Partizan Belgrade.

His goal followed Guelor Kanga’s penalty which put the team in front in the 36th minute.

Bukari’s moment of brilliance came when he calmly slotted the ball past the opposing goalkeeper after receiving a well-timed cross at the far post.

It was followed by a third from Hwang In-beom who also converted from the spot in the 84th minute, sealing a 3-1 win and keeping the pressure on Partizan Belgrade at the top of the table.

The victory demonstrated Red Star’s dominance throughout the match.

The goal marked Bukari’s seventh in the league this season and his ninth across all competitions, solidifying his status as a key player for Red Star Belgrade.

This marks back-to-back goals for the 25-year-old having scored last week as the forward seems to be regaining confidence after a challenging Africa Cup of Nations campaign with the Black Stars in Ivory Coast.

The contributions of the former Nantes winger are crucial to Red Star’s pursuit of another championship title, following their domestic double triumph last season.

The win sets the stage for an eagerly anticipated clash against Partizan Belgrade in their next game on Saturday, March 9, 2024, at the Red Star Stadium.

As Red Star Belgrade aim for continued success, the winger’s form bodes well for the team’s aspirations and adds anticipation to the upcoming clash against Partizan Belgrade.
