The Disciplinary Committee of the Ghana Football Association (GFA) has imposed a three-year ban on attacker Solomon Sarfo Taylor from all football activities.

Sarfo Taylor has received a substantial ban due to double registration.

The former Asante Kotoko player was on the brink of having his contract with the club terminated for falsifying registration documents.

Despite resistance from Sarfo Taylor, which led to a protest filed against him by the club over name inconsistencies.

In its ruling on Monday, April 15, the Disciplinary Committee declared the talented attacker guilty of falsifying his registration documents, resulting in the three-year ban.

“Solomon Sarfo Taylor has been banned from participating in matches and competitions organized by the GFA for a period of three years. The Disciplinary Committee found him guilty of falsifying his registration documents.”

“As a result, Solomon Sarfo Taylor’s player license has accordingly been revoked,” parts of a notice from the GFA said in a post on X.
