Ghana striker Antoine Semenyo proved pivotal as 10-man Bournemouth secured a crucial victory over Wolves at Molineux, propelling themselves into the Premier League’s top half.

Despite being reduced to 10 men following Milos Kerkez’s dismissal, Semenyo’s lone goal secured the win.

Semenyo capitalised on a defensive lapse from Wolves to slot home from close range, adding to his season tally of eight goals.

Bournemouth’s positive approach yielded numerous chances, with Dominic Solanke, Alex Scott, Kerkez, and Justin Kluivert testing Wolves’ keeper Jose Sa.

A potential equaliser by Wolves’ Hwang Hee-chan was disallowed by VAR, citing a foul in the build-up involving substitute Matheus Cunha. Despite this disruption, Bournemouth maintained their pressure.

However, Kerkez’s straight red card in the final 10 minutes added tension. Yet, Andoni Iraola’s side held firm, enduring through 12 minutes of stoppage time to secure the win.

This victory elevates Bournemouth to 10th place, just two points behind eighth-placed West Ham, while Wolves slip to 12th in the league standings.
