First Black Stars training held ahead of Brazil match

Black Stars trained for the first time on Monday in preparation for their match against Brazil this Friday in France.

24 players trained at the Le Stade du Commandant Herbert in France under the guidance of the Black Stars technical team.

Captain Andre Ayew was present, as was his deputy Thomas Partey, Jordan Ayew, Alexander Djiku, Mohammed Kudus, and Kamaldeen Sulemana.

New recruits Inaki Williams, Tariq Lamptey, Ransford-Yeboah Königsdörffer, and Stephen Ambrosius were also involved in the training.

Currently, there are 24 players in camp, with Mohammed Salisu, Daniel Amartey, Felix Afena-Gyan and Richard Ofori set to arrive on Tuesday morning, and will participate in the second training session later in the day.

Ghana will play Brazil on Friday, September 23, at Stade Oceane in Le Harve- France before taking on Nicaragua at Estadio Francisco Artes Carrasco in Lorca, Spain on Tuesday, September 27, 2022.

Ghana will play another friendly against Switzerland before the start of their World Cup campaign. The Black Stars will face Portugal, South Korea, and Uruguay in the group stage.
