The sporting world has added its voice to the millions in extending condolences and tributes to the family of the late Jerry John Rawlings.
Leading the list in the sporting world is the President of FIFA, Gianni Infantino.
Infantino in a press release sent to the Ghana Football Association (GFA) hailed the former president for his efforts in helping raising Ghana’s economy.
Former WBO Junior Featherweight champion Isaac Dogboe also took to his twitter account to mourn the late president.

The Black Stars also dedicated their win over Sudan on Thursday to the former president.
Ex-President Rawlings died on Thursday at the Korle-Bu Teaching Hospital in Accra.
