Dreams FC advanced to the FA Cup final for the first time in their history after defeating Skyy FC in the semi-final on Saturday at the Dr Kwame Kyei Sports Complex.

The Still Believe lads were 2-1 winners of the Division One side in a captivating encounter that saw all goals recorded in the first half.

Sylvester Simba capitalised on a poor clearance outside the box to unleash a powerful striker with his left foot which went straight into the top left corner of the post to give Dreams FC the lead.

In the 18th minute, Huzaif Ali found himself at the end of a great attack to double the lead for Karim Zito’s men with a fine finish.

However, Skyy FC blew a great chance to come back into the game when Baba Hamadu Musah missed from the penalty spot. They later reacted positively as Eric Antwi Konadu halved the deficit with 10 minutes left to the break.

Dreams FC dominated the second half, maintaining their advantage and advancing to the FA Cup finals.

In the final, the Dawu-based side will face the winner of the encounter between Nsoatreman FC and Kumasi King Faisal in the second semi-final tie.
