The UEFA Champions League round of 16 draw will take place on Monday, December 18, with the draw set to determine the matchups for the first knockout round of the competition, with the winners advancing to the quarterfinals.

Teams That Qualified for the Round of 16

A total of 16 teams qualified for the round of 16. The teams have been divided into two pots based on their seeding. Pot 1 contains the eight group winners, while Pot 2 consists of the eight runners-up.

The teams in each pot will be drawn against each other, with the winner of each tie advancing to the next round.

Rules for draw

Teams from the same country cannot be drawn against each other.

Teams that faced each other in the group stage cannot be drawn against each other.

The team that finished first in their group will play the second leg at home.

When Are the Round of 16 Games Being Played?

The two-legged ties that will be scheduled following Monday’s draw will begin on February 13th/14th and February 20th/21st, 2024. The second leg of each tie will be played on March 5th/6th and March 12th/13th.
