Hasaacas Ladies head coach Yusif Basigi is confident his side will progress to the semi finals of the ongoing WAFU Zone B qualifiers of the CAF Champions League.

The reigning Ghana Women’s Premier League champions lost their opening game against Rivers Angels United by 2-0.

And Basigi is full of hopes his ladies will win to keep their ambitions of qualifying to the maiden edition of the tournament possible.

“After losing to Rivers Angels United, we know the only way to qualify to Egypt is to win our next game and progress to the final.

“We are leaving no stone unturned and we have put the defeat behind us and looking forward to winning our subsequent matches,” he told 3Sports.

A win or draw in their next game against AS Police from Niger will make their qualification to the semi-finals possible.

The former Black Princesses gaffer indicated that they have corrected their mistakes from the previous game.

“We have corrected our mistakes, we did the post-match review and we came out with a lot of feedbacks, both negative and positive,” he said.

Hasmal Ladies will play their final group game against AS Police on Friday, July 30.
