Kumasi Asante Kotoko have been drawn against Mauritanian outfit, Nouadhibou Football Club in the preliminary stages of the 2020-2021 CAF Champions League.
The schedule for this year’s tournament was delayed due to the outbreak of Covid-19. The draw for the preliminary stages was held on Monday, November 9.
The Porcupine Warriors will travel to Mauritania for the first leg later this month before playing the second leg at the Accra Sports Stadium early December.
Winner of the tie will play against the winner of Sudanese side Al Hilal or Ugandan side Vipers in the next stage of the competition.
Asante Kotoko will yet again hope for another success on the continental stage after years of disappointment.
