Black Galaxies chairman Tony Aubynn says the team is united and focused ahead of Saturday’s African Nations Championship match against Niger.

Ghana take on Niger at the Miloud Hadefi stadium in Oran, with a place in the semi-finals at stake.

According to reports earlier this week, the players were dissatisfied in Algeria. This is because they had learned that the Sports Ministry would reduce their agreed-upon qualification bonus. However, Aubynn claims that all issues have been resolved.

“I have never seen a team that is so united like this, the players are working together so I am happy with the calmness and unity in camp”

“Bonus issues have been resolved and I will thank the Sports Minister and his deputy and our FA President Kurt Okraku for the role played. I will plead with Ghanaians to pray and support the team because there are no issues in camp.”

“Our attention is now on the quarterfinals and if we are able to beat Niger, I tell you, the trophy will come home,” he said.

Annor Walker’s men want to the championship for the first time. They got off to a shaky start, losing to Madagascar, but recovered to beat Sudan and are now three wins away from becoming champions.
