Captain of the Black Stars Andre Ayew says a win today should be the only outcome of the game against Sudan.

The Black Stars face Sudan later today as part of qualification to AFCON 2021 in Cameroon. Ghana has won the first two games against Sao Tome and South Africa and will be looking to keep up the unblemished record after tonight’s game.

Ayew says the Stars have not had the best training regime but he believes the Stars are capable of beating Sudan.

“It has not been the best preparation because we didn’t have a full squad early for the coach to do what he wanted to do from the start and our days were short but now the squad is here. We trained well. We are fit. Hopefully there are no injuries,” he said at the pre-match press conference.

Ayew says Ghana’s win is the most important thing on the minds of the players at this point. The home advantage, he says, must play in their favour when they walk unto the pitch to begin the game.

“We are at home and when we are at home, we have only one solution and that is to get the three points. So we are going to do everything to make that happen,” he said.

The Black Stars are on six points and will be hoping to hit another 3 to keep them at the summit.
