Asafa Powell, the former world’s fastest man, shared a heart-warming tribute to his mother on Mother’s Day. He talked about how fulfilling it was to make his mother’s dream come true and credited his success to her unwavering support.

Powell recalled a special moment from his childhood when he was just six years old. He drew a picture of a house and promised to buy it for his mother someday. And he fulfilled that promise. He spoke about how much his mother meant to him and how she was his superhero. He believes that mothers should be celebrated always.

The Jamaican set the 100 meters world record twice between 2005 and 2008. He is a two-time Olympic medalist and a former world champion in the 4x100m relay. Despite his impressive achievements, Powell remains humble and grateful for his mother’s influence in his life.
