32 local players invited to begin preparations for AFCON Qualifiers

Black Stars head coach Charles Kwabla Akonnor has named 32 players to begin preparations for Ghana’s AFCON 2021 Qualifier next month.

Ghana will be away to South Africa on March 22 before hosting Sao Tome and Principe at home on March 30.

The team will later be joined by other foreign based players for the two qualifiers. These players are to report to the M Plaza Hotel in Accra on Monday, February 15, 2021.

Top performers in the ongoing Ghana Premier League season including Gladson Awako who has led Olympics’ great season, topscorer Diawusie Taylor of Karela United and Techiman Eleven Wonders’ winger Salifu Ibrahim were all invited for the upcoming qualifiers.
