Telecommunications company MTN have pledged $2 million to the Black Stars as they prepare for the 2022 World Cup in Qatar.

MTN look to contribute as Otto Addo’s men aim to make a mark in their fourth appearance at the global stage.

The team last made an appearance in 2014, when they were knocked out of the group stages following a string of poor performances and off-field issues.

The contribution made by MTN is also to support the team in its preparations for the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations in Ivory Coast which will take place in early 2024.

Ghana have been drawn in Group H with Portugal, Uruguay and South Korea.
