2018 Winter Olympics begins

The 2018 Winter Olympics have opened in South Korean city of Pyeongyang. The multi-sport event will involve 92 countries and close to 3,000 athletes. The event was officially opened South Korean president Moon Jae-in. The 2,952 athletes will compete in 15 disciplines but in 102 events. Before the Games, there was uncertainty over the participation of North Korea due to the political tension with the South.
