Beatrice Agyemang made the list of Most Influential African Women, earning the top spot in the coveted Media Category, as a result of her exceptional leadership, unwavering commitment, innovation, dedication and drive to achieve results in the media industry.

The List

Known for her strategic vision and forward-thinking approach, she has spearheaded initiatives that embrace technological advancements, ensuring that Media General remains at the forefront of delivering content that resonates with a diverse audience. Her commitment to the pursuit of excellence has set a high standard within the organization and has had a positive impact on the media landscape in Ghana.

Madam Agyemang is also passionate about impacting lives and has led her team to undertake several social interventions to support the less-privileged and underserved communities to address critical needs.

Through 3 Foundation, the Corporate Social Responsibility subsidiary of Media General, she successfully mobilised relief items to support communities in the lower Volta area that were submerged under water as a result of  the spillage of water from the Akosombo and Kpone Dams last year.

She and her team have been supporting persons with critical health conditions, particularly women and children, by mobilizing the public to raise funds to meet their medical needs.

Under her leadership, 3 Foundation has also spearheaded a number of advocacies to create awareness about illegal fishing methods to promote sustainable fisheries practices in partnership with USAID  as well as advocacies to improve access to education in partnership with Star Ghana.

Madam Agyemang expressed appreciation for the recognition, particularly to be selected among 100 accomplished women Africa wide, which is no mean achievement.

“My gratitude goes to my team at MG for the support that has enabled me to receive this recognition” she said.
