2019 Ghana's Most Beautiful pageant unveiled

It is that time of the year again when the search for a queen to represent and project Ghana officially begins. The theme for the 2019 edition of TV3‘s Ghana’s Most Beautiful (GMB) pageant has been officially unveiled with auditions set to take off from Friday, June 21. Arguably the nation’s best reality pageant, GMB has churned out young ladies who have grown to influence society positively through their personal social responsibility projects amongst other initiatives. This year’s competition, unveiled at a ceremony at the Swiss Spirit Alisa Hotel on Friday, June 14, is dubbed ‘Black N Proud’. This year’s theme seeks to propagate a message of valuing the uniqueness that comes with being Ghanaian and, by extension, African. As a culture-centered pageant, GMB has, over the years, provided a platform through which different Ghanaian cultures and traditions are projected while appreciating the rich Ghanaian identity. Speaking at the unveiling of the theme for 2019, Group Chief Executive Officer of Media General, Beatrice Agyemang Abbey reiterated the media firm’s commitment towards providing entertaining content to its viewers, readers and listeners, while projecting Ghana and Africa.
