Former President John Mahama surprised the minority members of parliament Thursday afternoon when he joined them for lunch in a typical ‘boy, boys’ style after the presentation of the State of the Nation Address by President Akufo-Addo. MPs of the National Democratic Congress had gathered at the Coffee Shop of Parliament to have meals when Mr. Mahama and his former Chief of Staff, Joe Debrah stormed the place to join the ‘action’. Mr. Mahama and Debrah were immediately given a seat, served with a plate of plain rice and chicken gravy stew, which they ate together to the admiration of the MPs some of who topped up the rice for the two as they ate.
