STAND IN THE GAP, a Prayer Conference, organized by Prophet Gideon Danso, has been a transformative event on the Christian landscape in Ghana for some time now.
The annual event brings together men and women of all stations of life to pray and seek the face of Jehovah.
Now in its eighth year, the 2023 48 Hour Nonstop prayer conference is expected to see several thousands of believers assembling throughout the day and the watches of the night to worship, praise and lift up prayers unto God. The principal focus of the conference has always been intercession. Hence believers gather to cry out unto God to step out of eternity into time and bring salvation, deliverance, miracles and healing to the nations of the world, businesses, communities, families and personal lives.
This year’s conference dubbed Let The Fire Fall, slated for 6th -9th July will take place at the Prayer Factory, the headquarters of Empowerment Worship Center, next to the Allied Heights at Dzorwulu Accra.
Prominent Preachers on the ticket are John Hanna, USA, Mathew Thompson, USA, William McDowell USA, Nathaniel Bassey, Nigeria, Dr. Ampiah Kwofie, Ghana, Apostle Ben Doku, Ghana and the host Prophet Gideon Danso.
In an interview on the need for intercessory prayers, Prophet Gideon Danso hinted: “When the Word of God goes forth and the atmosphere is charged with prayer, faith and expectancy, the miraculous becomes evident and God is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we could ever ask or think.
Powerful worship sessions led by EMC Choir have always begun the stir in the atmosphere for unprecedented moves of God. Over the years, participants have given testimonies of healings, miracles, signs and wonders and all kinds of breakthroughs in their lives, during and immediately after the program, thus reassuring believers that God is present in the lives of His people and hears their cries.
STAND IN THE GAP, a clarion call on believers to embark on intercessory prayers was birthed out of the conviction of Prophet Gideon Danso, a man with a powerful prophetic and prayer ministry in these end times, that with Prayer, things that men see as impossible are possible with God.
