In the realm of celebrity relationships, public breakups and controversies often take centre stage, capturing headlines and gossip columns.

However, amidst the drama, some couples manage to find a path of amicability and understanding.

Michelle Diamond, the former partner of Ghanaian Dancehall musician Shatta Wale, has revealed that she is currently on good terms with her son’s father.

In an interview on Okay FM, Michelle who is also known as Shatta Michy opened up about her current dynamic with Shatta Wale, with whom she shares a child, Majesty Wale.

“I won’t say feel something like the way it used to be, it’s more brotherly right now and of course, we have a child together so I owe him that care,” she revealed.

Over the years, their relationship had endured its fair share of challenges, leading to a public fallout. However, Michy dispelled any notion of pretending that their bond was entirely severed, admitting that a hint of sweetness still remained between them.

“I’ve shown lots of care to him publicly as well and we won’t be hypocrites and say oh it just faded off, a lot of things have made it fade off but that tiny bit of sweetness is there,” she said.

Shatta Michy even went further to praise the “Dancehall King” crooner for his support in promoting her music, something that had been a contentious issue in the past.

She appreciated his efforts in supporting her career despite their differences, indicating a newfound level of mutual respect and cooperation.

“I actually appreciate that post, and I’m glad we’ve been able to look over our differences for the sake of the child and business that we can do in the future,” she expressed gratefully.
