Stage set, sound checked: all set for 2018 VGMA nominees jam

Live feed coming from the Jubilee Park in Cape Coast in the Central region indicates all is set for the 2018 Vodafone Ghana Music Awards nominee jam, a prelude to the biggest music awards night in Ghana, the VGMA.   This year’s edition of the VGMA nominees jam promises to be more exciting than ever before, serving a public a dose of the main event scheduled for April 14. With a line-up of some of the hottest acts on the nominee list for this year’s VGMA, one can only expect a thrilling performance from them. Live on the big stage tonight in Cape Coast include award winning R&B duo, R2Bees; King Promise; Lynx Entertainment lads, Kidi and Kuami Eugene; Gospel Queens, Patience Nyarko and Gifty Osei; the Prince of Tadi, Kofi Kinaata and the undisputed King of African Dancehall, Samini! As at 6pm, the stage was set, the Live band was live, the sound was testing loud and clear, the atmosphere was charged in eager anticipation of the show and everything was in place for the showdown tonight. Another high point of tonight’s outdoor event will be the showcase of the VGMA Unsung acts who have braced themselves to use the occasion as a springboard to stardom. From DopeNation to Royal Chris, O’Bkay to Real MC and Kelvinboy to Dhatgyal, it promises to be a night of nonstop entertainment.
