The ongoing controversy surrounding rapper Sarkodie’s response track, titled “Try Me,” and actress Yvonne Nelson’s memoir has sparked a strong reaction from Prince David Osei, a close confidant of Yvonne Nelson.

In a Twitter post on Thursday, the actor expressed his anger with Sarkdoie for engaging in disrespectful behaviour towards women.

The ‘Heart of Men’ star referred to Sarkodie’s track as “childish tantrums,” while stressing the importance of maintaining a mature and respectful attitude in any dispute.

He also specifically addressed Sarkodie’s argument that Yvonne Nelson was ‘For the Streets’ a twang describing her as a promiscuous woman.

According to the father of two, Sarkodie engaged in unprotected sex with Yvonne Nelson, impregnated her and then proceeded to label her with derogatory names.

“Childish Tantrums!! The controversy surrounding Sarkodie and Yvonne Nelson’s relationship track intensified with the release of his song, Try Me on Wednesday, June 28.

The lyrics of “Try Me” are characterized by a direct and confrontational tone. Sarkodie acknowledges Yvonne Nelson’s courage in speaking out but also urges her to be transparent about her past relationships.

He emphasized that she has the choice to reveal or keep private the intimate details of her personal life.

“I never thought I was going on this wave, cause I was ready to take a couple of things to my grave. First of all, let me clap for you baby you are brave but you can’t pick and choose what to say pls behave, nobody sent you so Ohemaa if you want to talk, you have to tell the world every n*gga that you f*cked” Sarkodie said in the first lines of his song.
