Dancehall artiste Stonebwoy has asked veteran musician Rex Omar to concentrate on fixing issues at the Ghana Music Rights Organisation (GHAMRO). According to him, the veteran musician should leave issues about the ban that has been placed on him and Shatta Wale to the Ghana Music Awards (VGMA) board. Speaking in an interview on Showbiz 927 on 3FM @3fm92.7 with MzGee, Stonebwoy said there are a lot of issues at GHAMRO that rather needs Rex Omar’s attention. Last week on Showbiz 927, Rex Omar had urged the Board and organisers of the Ghana Music Awards not to lift the ban placed on dancehall artistes Shatta Wale and Stonebwoy. According to him, the two artistes are not bigger than the Ghanaian music industry. He noted that the industry is guided by rules and after their fracas at the 2019 edition of the awards, the ban should serve as a deterrent to other artistes. Listen to Stonebwoy’s reaction to Rex Omar’s comments.
