Ghanaian media personality and 2023 BBC Komla Dumor award winner, Paa Kwesi Asare has been ranked in the 9th publication of the Avance Media’s list of 50 Most Influential Young Ghanaians for 2023.
Asare in August 2023 became the 8th recipient of the prestigious BBC Komla Dumor Award, making him the first Ghanaian to win it.
Berla Mundi, Portia Solomon Gabor and Naa Ashorkor Mensah-Doku are the other media personalities from Media General on the list.
Currently the Head of 3Business, the Business News department of Media General, Asare’s pragmatic style of journalism and ability to carefully dissect complex topics has been highlighted as one of his unique attributes as a journalist.
The list also includes recognised personalities and influential figures from sports, politics, media who are all making Ghana proud locally and internationally.
Individuals such as Iñaki Williams, Sam George, Black Sherif and a host of others have all been celebrated in the Avance Media released list for Most Influential Ghanaians.
Paa Kwesi Asare is the host of Business Focus which airs every Monday at 6pm on TV3.
